Privacy Policy

Rajkahan is the website of Rajkahan Satsang Mandal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What you can do without an account

The home page, the videos on YouTube and the gallery are open to anyone. The books and the recordings are the Mandal’s own library and need a member account.

What we collect

Only if you choose to create an account:

• Your name, so we have something to call you.
• Your email address, to verify the account and to let you reset your password.
• Your password, stored only as a bcrypt hash. We never see it and cannot recover it.
• Your age and city, asked once when you first sign in.
• Your language preference, so the site opens in the language you read.
• A record of your signed-in devices — the browser or app name and the date — so you can sign a device out from your account page.

What we do not collect

• No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no advertising SDK and no third-party script on this site.
• No location data.
• No contacts, photos or files from your device.
• No record of what you read, listen to or watch. Your reading position and your downloads are stored on your own device and are never sent to us.

Cookies

Two, both strictly necessary: one remembers your chosen language, and one keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why this site shows you no cookie banner.

Video

Videos are played through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. When you play one, YouTube receives your IP address and device information under Google’s privacy policy. Nothing is sent to YouTube until you press play. policies.google.com/privacy

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, from your account page or at rajkahan.in/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your name, email address, password hash and sessions are removed from our database. It cannot be undone. rajkahan.in/delete-account

How long we keep things

Account details are kept until you delete the account. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days. Verification and password-reset links expire within 24 hours and one hour respectively, and are cleared a week later.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
